What we are looking for:

  • Someone who is passionate and enthusiastic about craft beer and wants to become part of our small but growing team.
  • Maximise sales within the assigned area by identifying new business opportunities while managing commercial investment to ensure the profitable growth of existing accounts.
  • Be self-motivated and highly disciplined in territory route optimisation and managing a structured call cycle to maximise face-time with decision-makers.
  • Must possess the confidence to conduct professional sales calls and desk-based prospecting, engaging effectively with both independent accounts and group buyers.
  • Demonstrate best practice in customer service and after-sales support, including an understanding of draught quality, cellar standards, and the "Perfect Serve" to ensure brand integrity at the pump.
  • A versatile communicator capable of pivoting seamlessly between technical brand advocacy for enthusiasts and value-based commercial negotiations with business owners.
  • Ability to utilize CRM tools, spreadsheets, and market data to track KPIs, provide accurate sales forecasting, and report on volume (HL) and distribution targets.
  • Experience in Field Sales is a must, with a distinct advantage if you have experience in the Brewery or On-Trade Industry, including a basic understanding of draught beer systems and cellar requirements.
  • Ability to use industry trends and competitor insights to influence range reviews and secure incremental pouring points for the Hammerton portfolio.
  • Significant experience in Field Sales is a must, with a distinct advantage if you have an established network within the London On-Trade or wider Brewery Industry.
  • Willing to work flexible hours; due to the nature of the role, you will often need to work some evening and weekend hours for events and tap takeovers.
