HIT Training Honoured with Princess Royal Training Award
The London Brewers' Alliance (LBA) is proud to highlight the recent achievement of one of our trade members, HIT Training. In a significant recognition of its dedication to workforce development, HIT Training has been honoured with the prestigious Princess Royal Training Award for 2024. This accolade recognises their exceptional internal staff development programs and apprenticeships, which have made a remarkable impact on their team and the broader industry.
HIT Training Ltd is one of only 52 organisations selected for this award, which will be presented later this year by HRH The Princess Royal, the President of the City & Guilds of London Institute. The Princess Royal Training Awards, now in their ninth year, are awarded by City & Guilds to recognise organisations that have demonstrated excellence in training, learning, and development initiatives. These awards underscore the critical role that innovative training programs play in addressing productivity challenges and equipping the workforce with the skills needed for the future economy.
Mike Worley, Managing Director of HIT Training Ltd, expressed pride in this achievement, saying:

The award assessors, including experts from the Learning & Development sector and previous award recipients, praised HIT Training for its innovative approach and measurable impact. This recognition highlights the company's success in implementing the Learner Mentor Apprenticeship, which has cultivated a culture of ongoing professional growth and has had a positive ripple effect on the apprentices they support.
Kirstie Donnelly MBE, Chief Executive of City & Guilds, described the Princess Royal Training Awards as the "gold standard" for training, learning, and development. She commended this year’s recipients for their innovation and commitment to addressing contemporary skills challenges, including those related to sustainability and the preservation of traditional skills.
