Signature Brew's Riot Grrrl Collaboration Wins Prestigious SIBA Business Award
Signature Brew, the trailblazing brewery renowned for its innovative collaborations and boundary-pushing brews, has clinched yet another accolade with its Riot Grrrl collaboration. The beer, created in partnership with Tate, has been honoured with a coveted SIBA Business Award, with its individual design recognised as the best in its class.
Inspired by the revolutionary spirit of the feminist punk movement of the 1970s and 80s, Riot Grrrl is more than just a beer; it's a tribute to the pioneering women and art that shaped an era. Crafted as a 4.8% ABV hazy pale, Riot Grrrl has quickly become one of Signature Brew's standout offerings, captivating drinkers with its bold, juicy flavours and irresistibly drinkable character.
Upon its release in November 2023, Riot Grrrl flew off the shelves, selling out within moments of hitting the market. Such was its demand that Signature Brew had to ramp up production to keep pace with the fervent enthusiasm of beer enthusiasts.
Sam McGregor, co-founder of Signature Brew, expressed his gratitude for the collaboration, saying,
"It was an honour to work alongside such an iconic group of artists that played such an important part in our culture, especially when we look back at the impact it had on the music of that time as well."
To celebrate the success of Riot Grrrl and the Women in Revolt exhibition at Tate, Signature Brew and Tate are hosting two unmissable events. The first, Late at Tate, will take place on Friday, 5th April, offering an exclusive evening viewing of the exhibition with Signature Brew on hand to serve up their acclaimed beers. Additionally, on Friday, 26th April, Signature Brew will take over Tate Britain's Corner Bar as part of the fringe events for the London craft beer festival, Brew LDN. Attendees can expect live DJs, a final opportunity to taste Riot Grrrl, and a stellar lineup of Signature Brew's finest offerings.
