LBA Festival returns in September

This September marks a huge milestone for the London Brewers’ Alliance as we celebrate our 15th anniversary with the return of the LBA Beer Festival, hosted in partnership with Bird House Brewery in Herne Hill.

Over four days, from Thursday to Sunday, the arches of Bird House will be transformed into London’s biggest celebration of beer, food, and music. Expect over 60 taps pouring London-brewed beer, with 50 guest lines from LBA member breweries alongside Bird House’s own favourites. From crisp lagers and hop-driven IPAs to bold stouts and specials, this is the best chance to experience the breadth and creativity of London’s brewing scene in one place.

The festival is more than just beer. Bird House’s team will be joined by the culinary duo Ed & Ed of Kitchen 94, firing up an open BBQ grill, while other food options range from sourdough pizza to Italian-style small plates. A full bar of cocktails, seasonal wines, and spirits will also be available. Add in live entertainment, DJs, and a lively garden stage, and it promises to be a proper London party.

A Festival 15 Years in the Making

The LBA was founded in 2010 by a small group of passionate brewers with a mission to champion London’s brewing heritage and its exciting new wave. Fifteen years later, with more than 80 members across the city, the LBA continues to promote excellence, foster collaboration, and ensure London beer is celebrated at home and abroad. This year’s festival is both a showcase of that journey and a chance to look forward to the next chapter.

Untappd Festival Badge

For those serious about their Untappd check-ins, we’ve teamed up with Untappd to launch a special one-off badge for our 15th birthday. The badge can only be unlocked at the festival, with new levels awarded for every five check-ins, up to 100. Once the festival is over, the badge disappears for good.

Tickets and Sessions

The LBA Beer Festival 2025 runs across five ticketed sessions, from Thursday evening through to Saturday night, plus a free-entry Sunday afterparty to close out the celebrations.

  • Tickets are priced between £12 – £18

  • Each ticket includes 4 half-pint tokens and a branded pint glass

  • Bird House Brewery is just a 2-minute walk from Herne Hill Overground Station

Tickets are available now at lbafestival.org

This is a landmark year for the London Brewers’ Alliance and a chance for everyone - brewers, drinkers, and supporters - to raise a glass to 15 years of London beer. We look forward to seeing you there.
