London Breweries Impress at SIBA National Beer & Business Awards
Fresh from two days spent in Liverpool, at the UK's biggest beer and brewing trade event, the London Brewers Alliance are delighted to announce that London Breweries picked up a number of awards at both the SIBA Business Awards & SIBA Independent Beer Awards.
First up, on the Tuesday evening, were the Business Awards 2025. Breweries across the country gathered to celebrate the best of British brewing, with awards covering all areas, from sustainability to marketing, and It was in this area in particular where London breweries shone. Hackney Church Brew Co picked up the Gold Award for Individual Design - recognising the innovation in combining their Peach Melba beer and it's twist-off and combine concept of experiencing two unique but complementary beers.
Continuing with the theme of design, Orbit Beers were next on stage to collect their own Gold Award, this time for UK's Best Independent Brewery Webshop.
On Wednesday night, it was the turn of the brewers and production teams to take centre stage, and once again London's brewers didn't disappoint. First up to collect their Gold Award was Nirvana Brewing, picking up the award for Best "Bottle/CanNon-Alcoholic & Low ABV" for Nirvana Pils. Signature Brew quickly followed them on stage, picking up the award for Best "Bottle/Can Session Lager" with their Studio Lager.
40FT Brewery then picked up a Bronze Award in the "Bottle/Can Session Pale" Category for their Dalston Sunrise Session IPA. Hackney Church Brew Co continued their successful week, picking up Bronze for the "Bottle/Can IPA" for their The Pilgrim.
Howling Hops then saw gold, with a category win for "Bottle/Can Speciality IPA" with Uppercrust. While Hammerton Brewery received a Bronze Award for their Crunch Stout in the "Bottle/Can Speciality & Flavoured Beer" category.
The night wasn't over, and there was a further Silver medal for Hackney Church in the "Keg Premium Lager" category taking Silver for Halo. Pillars Brewery then picked up a Gold with their Pillars Pils taking first place in the "Keg Session Lager" category, and The Park Brewery snapped up Gold in the "Keg Session Pale Ale" category with their Amelia Pale Ale. Windsor & Eton Brewery also got in on the action winning a Bronze in the "Keg Speciality IPA" for their Uprising's Caught By The Fuzz, and 40FT rounded off the night with a second award, this time a Silver for their Frankie Gose to Dalston in the "Keg Sour & Wild Ale Category.
As the dust settles on another fantastic event, we'd like to thank all who attended and, of course a huge thanks to SIBA for once again hosting and bringing the event together. It was another successful showcase of all that's great in the brewing world, and we're already looking forward to the 2026 event!
