Assistant Brewer at Bird House Brewery
We are an independent brewery which opened in April 2024 under the arches in the centre
of Herne Hill. We have a core range of 5 beers, as well as specials/seasonals. Our focus is
on brewing the highest quality British and European style lagers and modern style ales. All
our beers are sold either at our on-site taproom or on-trade within London.
With the expansion of the on-trade side of our business, we are also expanding our
production. We are looking for a passionate and skilled young brewer, immediately, to get
their hands dirty in all aspects of production. We are currently a 2 person production team,
this position includes close work with the current team and training will be provided.
This will be a part-time job that is paid hourly (rates may vary based on experience). A
minimum of 15 hours per week will be guaranteed, but this may rise to 30 hours per week.

Preferences (not requirements!)
● Previous experience in beer production
● IBD general certificate or equivalent
● Previous experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
● Full and clean UK drivers license
● Forklift licence
● Passion for delicious beer
