Orbit Beers Celebrates a Decade of Brewing Excellence

Orbit Beers is marking its tenth anniversary this July with a series of special events and new beer releases. Since its inception in 2014, the brewery has been a pioneering force in the London craft beer scene, celebrated for its modern take on classic European beer styles.

Celebratory Events

To commemorate this milestone, Orbit Beers is hosting a week-long celebration at their Walworth brewery and taproom, starting on Wednesday, 10th July. Highlights include:

• Wednesday, 10th July: The re-release of Neu Altbier, one of the first beers ever brewed by Orbit, alongside their popular Beer & Burger deal.
• Thursday, 11th July: A barrel-aged evening featuring the launch of BA Damson Blend: Cuvée de Cologne 2024 and rare brews from the archives.
• Friday, 12th July: A special discount night with a “Bring Your Own Vinyl” party, offering 10% off beers until 9pm.
• Saturday, 13th July: The big birthday celebration with BBQ specials, DJs, and the full line-up of birthday beers.
• Friday, 19th July: A special Köln vs Düsseldorf drinking event featuring Nico and Neu beers, blending Kölsch and Altbier traditions.

Special Beer Releases

Orbit Beers is also launching three special brews to celebrate their anniversary:

• Neu Altbier (4.7%): A deep amber beer with nutty, toasty malt flavors and a long-lasting bitterness, returning by popular demand.
• Damson Blend: Cuvée de Cologne 2024 (6.8%): A complex, oak barrel-aged Nico on damsons, offering a unique blend of oaky vanilla, floral notes, and a jammy sweetness.
• Nico Köln Lager (4.8%): An award-winning Kölsch-style lager, known for its delicate balance of malt and hops, and a crisp, dry finish.
