Sales Admin Assistant at Signature Brewery

Your role as a Sales Admin Assistant for Signature Brew is to liaise closely with our customers and our sales and logistics teams to ensure accurate processing and organisation of customers orders. Impeccable customer service should be ingrained into every process as you’ll be an important conduit between our customers and the brewery.

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Friendly, personable and enjoys communicating with customers
  • Has excellent customer service skills and telephone manner
  • Is diligent with good attention to detail
  • Has a can-do attitude and is keen to help out and get stuck in as we are a small and flexible team.
  • No previous experience required but an interest and understanding of craft beer would be helpful


Responsibilities:

Customer Service & Sales Administration

  • Communicating courteously with customers by telephone, email and face-to-face.
  • Deliver a high level of customer service to all our B2B and B2C customers
  • Managing orders@ inbox and accurately processing orders into our Brewery Management software (Breww) as promptly as possible.
  • Clearly communicating with customers by phone or email as required to support the sales process.
  • Driving sales through upselling, telesales calls and following up with customers to ensure their orders are received
  • Ensuring sales element of brewery management software is completely up to date and accurate
  • Passing on feedback from customers to the relevant team
  • Manage the customer onboarding process ensuring new customers have a positive experience of ordering with us
  • Communicating with Sales, Logistics, Packaging & Production regularly to help manage customer expectations utilising knowledge of our beers and products
  • Working closely with Logistics to ensure our customers receive their orders in a prompt and efficient manner
  • Reporting of issues in relevant forms including customer activity, webstore, trade, ullage and quality control
  • Handling customer complaints and resolving them including issuing credit notes, refunds or compensation to customers
  • Coordinating merch, glassware and POS for trade customers including ordering, stock management and dispatching to customers
  • Welcoming customers and the trade to the venue for brewery tours, tastings, events etc.


General Administration

  • Answering incoming calls to the business and directing calls to the relevant person
  • Answering enquiries that come through to the general business email addresses
  • Ensuring office supplies are topped up such as stationary, paper, printer ink etc
  • Assist with webstore fulfilment where required
  • There will be ad hoc requirements to assist with some tasks for the sales & operations teams
