Part Time Warehouse/Logistics Operator Gravity Well Brewing

We’re hiring! The position of warehouse/logistics operator has recently become available at the brewery and we’re looking for an enthusiastic and capable new team member to take on the role. This is a physically demanding role currently offered on a part time basis (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 8-5pm) involving a variety of roles including warehouse management, order processing, dray and some general assistance around the brewery including limited assistance on brewing and packaging days.
Salary: £18,600 for 3 days a week (£31,000 full-time equivalent)
The role
- Managing the brewery cold store to stack kegs and boxes in an ordered and structured manner
- Stock takes and responding to stock queries from the sales team
- Using our various software systems to book in couriers, print shipping labels and mark orders as dispatched
- Picking and packing cans and kegs for retail and trade orders and liaising with couriers where necessary
- Preparing pallets for shipping
- Assisting on packaging days to help store filled kegs and cans
- Some assistance may be required on brew days, most usually emptying malt sacks into the hopper
- Assisting with keeping the brewery clean and tidy including waste disposal
- Delivering some local orders. Each week we have approximately 3-6 very local orders to drop by van
- Taking raw material deliveries including offloading pallets with the forklift
- 24 hours per week
About you
- Experience in a similar role preferable
- Physically fit and strong enough to lift and stack kegs including building pallets and loading vehicles
- Willing to pitch in with whatever work is required
- Able to work independently and schedule tasks sensibly
- Driving licence essential, forklift licence highly desirable
