Tap East are searching for a General Manager to oversee their bar operations at their Stratford taproom.
Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the bar, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
- Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing bar staff.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment.
Guest Experience:
- Ensure exceptional customer service, exceeding guest expectations in every interaction.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Maintain a clean and inviting bar environment.
Operations Management:
- Manage inventory, ordering, and stock control to minimize waste and maximise profitability.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and liquor licensing regulations.
- Monitor and analyse sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Beer Knowledge:
- Possess a deep understanding of beer styles, brewing techniques, and our own craft beers.
- Educate staff and guests on our beer offerings and craft beer culture.
Marketing:
- Social Media planning to ensure that social media is used to its best effect. I.e. Twitter,
- Facebook and Website or any other social media facility.
- Visual Marketing for events and promotions.
- Assist with other company related events
Essential Requirements:
- Must be a personal license holder
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a bar management role, preferably in a craft beer setting.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service.
- Knowledge of liquor licensing regulations and health and safety standards.
- Passion for craft beer and a desire to contribute to a growing brewery.
