The opportunity

As a core member of the Production team at the brewery, you will be involved in all aspects of the production process from intake of raw ingredients right through to final packaging before delivery. We want someone who is passionate about beer and the brewing industry and ideally with one year experience of the process. They must also demonstrate the highest personal standards - we produce beers of the highest quality because our people have those standards and cannot leave a job half done.

About us

Windsor and Eton Brewery, or "webrew" for short, was founded in 2009 by four friends, keen to put great beer back on the map of Windsor. this small and people - led business brews quality and flavoursome beer, stocking pubs and supermarkets nationwide. Alongside their brewery, they run a handful of pubs with the view of adding more gems to their portfolio in the coming years.

Key responsibilities: ( the list is not exhaustive)

  • Brewing beer and managing fermentation activities
  • Packaging beer including casks, kegs, canning, filling tanks for transport, and hand bottling.
  • Maintaining highest hygiene standards through cleaning – production plant, work area, casks and kegs, etc. – everything and all the time!
  • Comprehensive record keeping
  • Contributing to the brewery achieving quality accreditation certification e.g. SALSA, Organic standards
  • Full training will be provided but the job holder will then be responsible for turning the brewing plan into actual production so a high degree of independence, self-motivation, pursuit of excellence and perfectionism are required.
  • Rotas are set on a weekly basis, early starts and late finishes will be required, as will occasional weekend work and attendance at off-site events.


Experience and skills:

  • Ideal candidates will have at least one years’ previous brewing experience and/or technical training.
  • Proof of right to work in UK
  • Irrespective of the experience you bring, you should be aware that brewing is a highly technical operation and all candidates MUST be very numerate and preferably have a science background.

  • The role is often very physically demanding and therefore people should anticipate a job where you will be on your feet most of the day, active and prepared to be very hands-on.
