At Small Beer, we brew fantastic mid-strength beers that allow drinkers to think big. We’re a dynamic team who believe in exceptional quality of product and innovation.

Social responsibility is at the heart of what we do, from brewing and packaging to the brewery’s role within the community. We’re fast-paced with ambitious plans, so a willingness to turn your hand to any aspect of the business is essential.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the company as Special Operations Ecommerce, reporting into the Operations Manager. We’re looking for someone who has a great work ethic, is consistent, reliable and wants to learn and do well. This is a full time, entry level position so no prior experience is required. We are a London Living Wage employer. The ideal candidate will have an interest in brewing, sustainability and getting things done, no matter how big or small.

Responsibilities include:

  • Picking and packing all orders received through our ecommerce channels (website, Not on the High Street, etc.) and despatching samples where required
  • Managing relationships with couriers
  • Maintaining sufficient stock levels in the brewery, of both products and packaging
  • Providing friendly and effective customer service by email, webchat and over the phone
  • Delivering and collecting kegs and casks from trade customers around London
  • Supporting the day to day operations of the Brewery - preparing the space for internal and external events, assisting with keg/cask cleaning and filling where needed
  • Supporting internal and external events - weekly music nights, weekend weddings, corporate events

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Great communication skills
  • Good computer literacy (experience with Shopify / Shiptheory would be a big plus!)
  • An eye for detail
  • Motivation to keep things tidy and organised
  • A positive attitude
  • A willingness to learn and throw themselves into all tasks
  • Valid and clean UK driving licence
  • Forklift licence and/or warehousing experience

Job details: Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm with 1 hour lunch break. 25 days annual leave, excl bank holidays
