We are looking for a Junior Packaging Operator to join Team Beaver! Reporting into our Packaging Manager, this role will operate as part of the Packaging team and involve canning and kegging on a variety of equipment.
As a member of the Packaging team, you will be delivering a high-quality Packaging service to ensure all beer leaving our brewery is packaged to the highest standard to ensure a first-class Beavertown experience!
This is a rewarding role and will require you to be mobile at all times. Please note this role will not be involved in brewing our beers.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Packaging beer into cans, kegs or bottles
- Setting up packaging lines
- Ensuring beer is packaged to specification
- Performing pack integrity checks
- Preparing fermentation vessels for CIP
- Setup of filling machines for CIP
- Moving pallets, packaging and product with pallet/forklift truck
- Performing pack integrity checks
- Maintain a safe and hygienic working environment and ensure we are compliant with all SALSA requirements relating to the Packaging process at all times.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Previous experience working in Production or a Brewery is desirable, however not essential
- Competent with Microsoft Office suite of programs
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
- Strong record keeping abilities
- The ability to focus on accuracy and strong attention to detail
- Capable of physical work
- Can do attitude with a positive outlook
