About Us
The London Brewers Alliance (LBA) exists to promote and support breweries in and around London. Comprising a board of volunteers from the brewing industry, our aim is to showcase the world class beer being produced in London and elevate the products and operations of our members.

A key part of our strategy is to build a class-leading digital marketing culture worthy of the excellent members we represent, but we still have some way to go.

What we’re looking for
We’re now looking for a passionate digital marketing freelancer to support us on this journey and help us grow our online presence across a range of channels. Reporting to our Communications Committee, the successful candidate will be an enthusiastic marketing professional, ideally with an interest in craft beer and brewing.

What you’ll do

  • Help us deliver a regular programme of content to promote our member breweries (and trade supporters)
  • Schedule exciting content plans, including channel takeovers and brewer spotlights
  • Create bold and unique content, while also sharing and promoting our members’ posts
  • Visit member breweries and attend industry events to capture photos, videos and other media content
  • Assist with our monthly e-newsletters and help grow our mailing list subscribers
  • Assist with updating the LBA Website and forums with regular content updates and member submissions (press releases, job posts etc)

What you’ll need

  • A good understanding of creating content for multiple platforms
  • Excellent copywriting skills and good attention to detail
  • A basic working knowledge of content management in Drupal
  • Experience or a keen interest in photography and videography and post processing
  • To be a self-starter, able to work under your own initiative and meet key deadlines
  • Ability to deal with multiple stakeholders and manage complete project delivery
  • A ‘can do’ attitude with an interest to learn and develop on the go

Who this will suit

As a freelance role, this will suit someone wanting to work remotely and able to schedule this role flexibly around their other commitments. The LBA Board is led by an experienced digital marketing professional who can provide strong support and development opportunities, so advanced experience is less important than the right attitude.

Role Type: Freelance
Hours: Approx. 2-3 hours per week (with some additional activity during events)
Renumeration: £2,500 per annum + reasonable expenses
